Sausage & Cheese Puffs

Can be made ahead of time*

 

1/2 lb. sausage, cooked, drained, & crumbled

3 c. baking mix

4 c. shredded cheddar cheese

3/4 c. water

 

In a large bowl, combine baking mix and cheese, then stir in sausage. Add water and toss with a fork until moistened.

 

Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool on wire racks.

 

4 dozen

 

*Can be baked ahead and frozen. Reheat frozen puffs at 400 degrees for 7 to 9 minutes or until heated through.
