Nutty Apple Crisp

6 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, & sliced

1/4 c. honey

1/2 c. chopped pecans

Zest & juice of 1 lime

3/4 c. all-purpose flour

1/2 c. light brown sugar

3 tbs. unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a shallow baking dish, combine the apples, honey, pecans, lime zest, and lime juice. Toss and set aside.

In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and butter. Work into a crumbly mixture and sprinkle over the apples.

Bake about 45 minutes, until apples are tender and golden brown. Remove from oven and let sit, covered, for 10 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
