Cheesy Sausage

 

3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 c. buttermilk

1 tbs. finely chopped onion

2 tsp. rubbed sage

3/4 tsp. salt

3/4 tsp. pepper

1/8 tsp. garlic powder

1/8 tsp. dried oregano

1 lb. ground pork

 

In a bowl, combine cheese, buttermilk, onion, sage, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Crumble pork over mixture and mix well. Shape into 8 patties and refrigerate for 1 hour.

 

Fry patties in a nonstick skillet over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes per side or until meat is no longer pink.
